Még sohasem használtam GIMP-et, de gondoltam kipróbálom, ha már a Photoshoppal emlegetik egy lapon. Letöltöttem a legfrissebb verziót, valamint a gtk-t is, bármi is légyen az (én nem 'tom), mert hogy kell hozzá Windows alá (2000), de a telepítés után indításkor csak az alábbi hibaüzenetet kaptam:
"Az eljárás belépési pontja (XML_SetDoctypeDec|Handler) nem található a DLL-ben (xmlparse.dll)."
Mit ronthattam el? Mind a gtk, mind a GIMP telepítésekor rákérdezett, hogy átnevezhet -e bizonyos fájlokat, és mindkétszer azt mondtam, hogy nem. Lehet, hogy itt a bibi?
Bocs, valahogy duplán jött létre a téma, kérem az adminokat, hogy az elsőt töröljék (én nem találam számomra ilyen lehetőséget).

A későbbiekben bizonyára itt is lesz leírás.
Közben fellapoztam a windows-os GIMP kézikönyvét, és ott írták lehetséges oknak a problémádra azt, hogy rossz verziójú DLL-ek vannak telepítve. Telepítsd újra a GIMP-et, és hagyd, hogy felülírja a régi állományokat.
A GTK a GIMP alapját képező függvénytár, nem kell ismerni, annyit kell róla tudni, hogy a GIMP futásához szükséges komponens.
Így látatlanban nincs ötletem, vajon mi okozhatja a fenti hibát. Annyit megpróbálnék a helyedben, hogy ha elérhető más wines verzió, azokat is kipróbálnám, engedélyezném a fájlátnevezést, ill. letölteném a GAIM üzengetőt, hogy az fut-e a rendszereden, mert az is GTK alapú, így legalább annyi kiderülne, a GTK-ban vagy a GIMP-ben van a hiba.
Valaki tudna segíteni? Nagyon le akartam tölteni a GIMP-et, de eddig mindig mikor el akartam indítani,kiírt valamit,hogy nem található,meg telepítsem újra,stb.
Na most találtam egy másik verziót,ami legalább a betöltésig hajlandó volt elindulni, de mikor azt írja ki,hogy "Kiegészítők indítása" egyszerűen nem tölt tovább!!!És még csak becsukni se tudom!

Valószínűnek tartom, hogy (sajnos :P) valamilyen Window$-t használsz.
Alább van egy link, ha nem innét töltötted le, akkor azt javaslom, hogy töröld le a telepített GIMP-et (esetleg a GTK-t is, ha külön telepítetted) és ezt telepítsed.

Ha ez nem segít, akkor írd meg a következőket:
- Operációs rendszer
- GIMP verzió
- A "kiírt valamit,hogy nem található,meg telepítsem újra,stb." pontos szövege.
De szerintem a legjobb megoldás, ha telepítesz (vagy megkérsz egy erre kapható személyt) hogy Linux-ot is telepítsen a gépedre.
